Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HomeCert(the “Service”), operated by Total Home Assure LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the home records, documents, and photos you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service, including generating scores, parsing reports, and sharing records at your direction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by uploading unlawful content, infringing others’ rights, attempting to disrupt or overload the Service, or accessing data you are not authorized to view.

AI-generated information

The Service uses automated and AI tools to summarize inspections, suggest likely issues, and provide guidance. This information is provided for convenience and is not a substitute for professional inspection, legal, or financial advice. Verify important decisions with a qualified professional.

Text messages (SMS)

HomeCert sends transactional text messages (such as a one-time link to claim and view a home record and a summary of a home inspection) to clients whose real estate agent has confirmed they agreed to be contacted. Message frequency varies and is low (typically one to three messages). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms & Opt-In and Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the accuracy of scores, parsed data, or third-party information.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Total Home Assure LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
